Nexus walking to the ring and they appear to be missing someone. Wade takes the mic and he says that since they are in the ring, it means he beat John Cena last night. Before they bring out the newest member of the Nexus, there are a few issues he would like to address. First, he has identified the mystery assailants from last night. We go to the TitanTron and we find out that it was Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris. Wade says that he did not ask either man to help him and they are not part of the Nexus. Wade says that his second issue is that since he needed no help to beat John Cena, why did the rest of the men in black shirts with yellow backgrounds come to the ring to almost cost him his match. He blames Otunga for that but it is about celebrating and inducting the newest member of the Nexus. Wade introduces the newest person to put on the Black and Gold as John Cena makes his way to the ring.

John forgot the meeting in orientation about the proper Nexus dress code.

Wade tells John that he knows it is tearing him apart inside, but he knows that John is a man of his word. John said that if he lost, he would become a full fledged member of Nexus. Wade tells John that he will find out that this is the best thing to happen to him.

Michael Tarver tells Cena that he put his hands on him and made jokes about him. He also threatened his livelihood. Tarver says that the joke is on him now. Tarver says that Cena failed. Tarver apologizes to Wade. Tarver says that they have a gift for him. He gives Cena the N arm band. Cena removes one of his CeNation arm bands and replaces it with the N Band.

Heath tells John that they know the transition will be difficult but they are here for them. Heath says that everyone wants to know his thoughts about all of this, instead of making him feel uncomfortable, they have written a few things for Cena to say.

Wade tells Cena that this is non-negotiable and that he will read it and he will read it now.

John says that I John Cena officially acknowledge that I am officially a member of the Nexus. Any enemy of the Nexus is now an enemy of mine. As for my fans, I hope you stand by me because the fact of the matter is that you are Nexus or Against Us.

Wade says that things will get easier. He tells Cena that he will have his first match as part of Nexus and it will be a tag match against Evan Bourne and Mark Henry. Wade says that he will let Cena choose his tag partner.

Cena walks to Tarver and he smiles in his face and points at Tarver. Wade says that it is official. Wade tells them to come out right now to receive the beating of their lives.

We see footage from last week when Bourne and Henry lost to Nexus in a tag match.

John Cena and Michael Tarver versus Evan Bourne and Mark Henry

Michael Cole quotes: The terms of the stipulation for his match with Wade Barrett that if he lost, he must join the Nexus. Nexus is clearly a group that takes direction from its leader Wade Barrett. As a member of the group, he must take direction from Wade Barrett. If he does not, as much as I would hate to do it. As much as it is bad for business. As much as the WWE Universe would despise it, I would have no alternative . . . but to terminate your WWE Contract. No one man, despite his popularity is bigger than the WWE. In other words, I will fire you.

Cena thinks about it in the ring for a little while before he exits the ring.

Natalya versus Alicia Fox

Johnny Knoxville is with Gail Kim and Melina as they steal the Bella’s job. They give Johnny a high five. Zack Ryder is in the back and he comes over to Johnny and gets a ‘special’ high five.

John Cena is pacing in the hallway and Josh asks John how he is going to deal with the edict of the General Messenger. John says that this is all he has ever done and this is all that he has. Cena says that he can’t not be in the WWE. Cena runs into the dressing room because he sees Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris in the hall. Wade says that he saw what John did to Tarver and he needs to talk. We see Husky and McGillicutty leave the dressing room as we go to commercial.

We are back and people in the band who gave us the theme from Hell in a Cell is in the crowd.

We go to the ring where the United States Champion is already in the ring for his match.

Daniel Bryan versus Sheamus in a Non Title Match

Michael Cole cannot describe what we have seen so far. Cole is trying to figure out how Raw will continue with John Cena in Nexus.

Michael Cole is in the ring with the General Messenger 2010. He wants to make it clear that he will no longer be communicating with his voice altered. He will communicate via e-mail through the voice of the WWE, Michael Cole. Before we go further, let’s see what happened last week between Edge and the General Messenger.

Cole says that on behalf of the General Manager that act of defiance is unacceptable. Two things will happen. First, Edge will come out and apologize. Then he will make a huge announcement about the WWE Title. Cole tells Edge that the General Manager is waiting.

Edge says that he is not going to apologize for anything. In case you missed Smackdown or Hell in a Cell, Edge reminds us that he is on a personal campaign against stupid. A GM who communicates by e-mails is stupid. Edge says that Cole has been the epitome of stupid since 1997. He says that he would rather listen to a recording of Jim Ross. Edge says that when he becomes the WWE Champion, you will see some attitude.

And Cole quotes. Tonight we are going to determine the number one contender for the WWE Title. It will be in a 20 man battle royal. The winner gets to face Randy Orton at Bragging Rights. The General Messenger tells Edge that he has disrespected him one too many times so he won’t be in the battle royal, because Edge has been traded to Smackdown.

The fans want Edge to spear the GM. Edge says this is one of the greatest nights of his life. Now he doesn’t have to deal with the general manager and the worst catchphrase . . . ‘And I Quote’.

Cole says that since he is the official voice of the WWE, he wants Edge to show him some respect.

Edge asks if it is respectful if he went off Raw on a high note by spearing him off his perch.

Before Edge can do anything, Michael Cole’s mancrush and manservant come out and Miz says that Edge will do no such thing. He calls Cole a visionary because he saw Miz’s awesomeness before anyone else. Miz tells Cole to go to his announce desk. Edge tells the Edge wannabe to do it.

One word name . . . check. Coming to the ring in a trenchcoat . . . check. Winning Money in the Bank . . . check. Edge says that he used Awesome while Miz was popping zits in high school.

Miz says that they are nothing alike. Edge says that he has been WWE Champion. Edge says that he has been married, divorced, and had a live celebration. Edge tells Miz that he hasn’t seen Miz successful with a woman.

Riley says that Miz is the future of the WWE. He says that the Miz is awesome.

Edge says that Miz is awesome at tapping out to Daniel Bryan.

Miz says that either he will be winning the WWE Title at Bragging Rights or he will be leading Team Raw against Team Smackdown.

Edge wants to clarify something and he calls Miz the WWE’s biggest jackass. Edge punches Riley and then he sends Miz into the general manager. Edge waits for Riley to get up and he spears Riley. Miz with the Skull Crushing Finale to Edge.

Miz pulls Riley out of the ring and helps him to the back.

Cena is in the dressing room and he says that what Cena did to Tarver might have been clever, but he has been looking to get rid of Tarver for a while. Wade tells Cena that he needs to help him win the battle royal tonight. Cena wants to know what will happen if Cena wins. Otunga tells Cena that if Barrett doesn’t win, then he will help one of them win the battle royal. Barrett wants to make sure he heard Otunga clearly and Otunga stammers.

Barrett tells Cena that he will help him or he will be fired.

The Bellas versus Michelle McCool and Layla

Maryse is in the back with Johnny Knoxville. She says that she knows that Johnny has been sending the letters. Ted says that he knows it was Johnny. Ted walks into a high five. Maryse says that Johnny is dead and she throws her shoes at Johnny. Maryse freak out and then she get hit from behind by giant hand and fall on Ted. Johnny runs away as Cole calls this a trainwreck.

Cole and Lawler talk about Jackass 3D and we see a clip.

Johnny Knoxville comes to the ring and he says hello to the fans he is glad to be back on Raw. He talks about his new movie. Johnny tries to leave the ring before the Auto Tune Million Dollar Son to come to the ring and he is accompanied by Maryse.

Johnny apologizes to Ted. Ted asks Johnny if he knows who he is and what he can do. Johnny says that he tried to make Maryse laugh. Johnny asks Ted if he made her laugh the first time without his pants. Ted slaps Johnny and puts him in the Million Dollar Dream.

We see on the TitanTron ‘Now You Are Mine’. Goldust appears behind Ted and he gives Ted the Final Cut. Goldust says that he doesn’t want Ted, he doesn’t want Maryse either. Goldust wants the Million Dollar Belt.

it is almost time for the twenty man battle royal to determine the number one contender.

First, we see the Make a Wish video package.

Cole mentions the trade involving Edge and the Cenafication of Nexus. We have some footage from earlier tonight.

Cena is still looking at his Nexus arm band and David Otunga comes over. He says that he knows that John is upset, but Nexus isn’t all bad. He says that Barrett can be a bit demanding, but he knows that they can make this work. David says that this isn’t the end. David tells John that if he ever wants to talk, he is there for him.

Cole says that there is someone else who will not be in this battle royal in addition to Edge. We go back to what Randy Orton did to Chris Jericho.

Cena and Bourne start things off and he offers his hand to Bourne and Evan doesn’t know what to do. Bourne shakes his hand and Tarver yells at Cena for showing sportsmanship. Cena tags Tarver in to see the Nexus way. Tarver has something to say to Bourne and Tarver with a knee and forearm to the back. We go to commercial.

We are back and Mark Henry works over Michael Tarver while we see Cena on the apron. Henry works on the arm and Henry kicks Tarver. Henry kicks Tarver and then Bourne tags in and he hits a kick from the turnbuckles onto the arm for a near fall. Cena reaches for the tag and he doesn’t seem to have his heart in it. Bourne with a snap mare and kick to the back. Henry tags back in and Henry lets Tarver get to his corner but Cena turns his back on Tarver as Henry hits Tarver from behind. Henry with a front face lock that may be a choke. Tarver punches Henry but Henry with a double sledge to the back. Henry walks across Tarver’s chest and then he tags Bourne back in. Henry with a slam and Bourne with a standing moonsault for a near fall.

Bourne with a wrist lock but Tarver punches Bourne but Bourne with a kick. Tarver with an Irish whip and he runs into a boot. Tarver with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and both men are down. Tarver goes for the tag but Cena gets something out of his pocket and he signs some autographs during the match.

Tarver yells at Cena and Henry tags back in and he hits the World’s Strongest Slam for the three count.

Winners: Evan Bourne and Mark Henry

After the match, Cena takes the mic and he says that he appreciates Nexus writing a note on his behalf, but he would like to make a statement of his own. He says that as the newest member of Nexus, he plans on doing one thing as a member of the group. Destroying it from within. Cena says that he proves that you can be Nexus and Against Us. Cena hits Tarver in the head with the mic and then he waits for Tarver to get up and Cena with a running clothesline. Cena rearranges the ring steps and then he looks at his Nexus arm band. Cena picks up Tarver and he slams Tarver on the ring steps. Cena picks up Tarver because the fans ask for it and he slams Tarver on the steps one more time. Cena sends Tarver back into the ring. Cena dives for the knee and he puts Tarver in the STF. Tarver miraculously does not tap because there is no match . . . until the General Messenger makes his presence known.

Bret Hart comes to the ring and he has something to say. Bret says hello to the people of Boston and says that it has been a while. Seventeen years ago, a new show debuted called Monday Night Raw. Bret says that back then, he wondered if the show would catch on. Thanks to everyone, seventeen years and 900 shows later, it looks like it is doing pretty good. Raw has the most shows in the history of primetime television. Bret says that he was there for the very first show. There was only one other wrestler here who was there on the first show as well. That man is the Undertaker. Bret says that it would be appropriate . . .

For Kane to come out and interrupt Bret. Kane mentions the Undertaker. He says that there is no Undertaker any more. Kane says that thanks to him physically decimating him and leaving him to rot in a vegetative state, the Undertaker is a phenom no longer. He is not phenomenal in any way. Kane says that Taker is just a man. Kane says that the man Bret once knew is like Bret. He is weak, feeble, scraggly, over the hill, and irreversibly damaged. The last time that the Undertaker was truly the Phenom it was at Wrestlemania when Taker ended the career of Shawn Michaels. Kane asks Bret if he liked that. Bret made amends with him, but he utterly despised Shawn. He must have enjoyed seeing Shawn laid out to rest.

Bret says that he will savor it when Kane loses to the Undertaker again. Kane tells Bret that he sounds like Taker. Kane says that the only thing he ever wanted was to break out of his brother’s shadow to prove that he is the devil’s favorite demon. Undertaker took out an icon in Shawn Michaels. Kane says that means that he needs to do the same. He needs to take out an icon of his own. Kane says that he needs to take out Bret Hart.

Kane grabs Bret by the throat and the Hart Dynasty comes to the ring. Kane fights off Kidd and Smith. Hart punches Kane but Kane grabs Hart again.

The lights go out and the Undertaker is in the center of the ring when the lights go back on. Kane stares down his brother and he leaves the ring. Kane tells his big brother ‘not yet’.

The General Messenger makes his presence known and Michael Cole gives us the most electrifying introduction in e-mail reading history. Cole tells us that he sees this iconic moment take place. In honor of Raw’s 900th episode, there will be a main event befitting this historic occasion. Bret Hart versus the Undertaker.

Time for the next Raw moment: Episode 889 when Nexus was formed and John Cena fell victim to an eight on one attack.

The five remaining members of Nexus are in the locker room. Tarver says that people are saying that they aren’t the same. Otunga says that they are just trimming the fat and he tells Tarver to go if he doesn’t think that way. Wade says that they will be the biggest stars in the WWE tonight and in three weeks, he will become WWE Champion. They need to do something that will be unforgettable and have people talking about them forever. Wade says that he knows what they can do and we go to commercial.

We are back with another Raw 900th Episode flashback. Episode 850 from September 2009 when Bob Barker was the guest host.

Chris Jericho is in the interview area with Josh Mathews. He asks Josh what the future holds for him. Chris asks if people think it is a gimmick when he says that he is the best in the world. He says it because it is true. Jericho says that he is going to take matters into his own hands. He had an epiphany that he is the greatest performer. If he does not win the WWE Title at Night of Champions, it will be the last you see of Chris Jericho in the WWE. Josh mentions that Jericho has been kicked out of the WWE a dozen times. Jericho says that he wants Josh to see what he is going to do to prove that he is the best in the world at what he does.

John Morrison and R Truth versus Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre in a Number One Contender Match for the WWE Tag Titles

It is time to go to episode 867 on the Greatest Night in Wrestling History on January 4th when Hell Froze Over when Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart buried the hatchet after something that happened in Canada a few years ago.

Jack Swagger comes out and he says that they should hail the returning conquering All American Hero. Jack says that when he left Raw he was an All American American American American. He returns a former World Champion. Jack says that he might know why Johnny Damon doesn’t want to return to Boston, but Jack has no problem bringing a little swagger to Monday Night Raw.

Alberto Del Rio introduces himself and he says that the little Chihuahua Rey Mysterio won’t be here tonight. Alberto says that the only place you can see Rey is in the hospital. What he did to Rey last week was phenomenal and incredible. Alberto says that he is not completely happy because the audience on Raw did not see what happened. Alberto says that he is going to recreate that magic moment, but with a different Chihuahua. He goes into the ring and he attacks Evan Bourne and puts him in a cross arm breaker. Alberto kicks Bourne out of the ring and then he puts Bourne’s arm in the chair.

Mark Henry runs to the ring and he punches the chair. Alberto thinks again about going back to the ring.

Michael Cole talks about the first WWE show in China and we have a video package.

Raw Moment: Episode 331: The Rock “This is Your Life” segment that was the highest rated segment in Raw history.

The Straight Edge Society comes out and they are one member short. They pose in the corner before Punk takes the mic. Punk says that he is better than the Rock. He doesn’t drink. He doesn’t smoke. He doesn’t make crappy movies like the Tooth Fairy. Punk asks if the fans like the Rock. Punk asks if they miss the Rock on Raw. Punk says that he doesn’t miss the Rock. It is because the Rock epitomizes the septic tank of a show that is Monday Night Raw. 900 shows is a milestone, but for 900 shows, Raw has been promoting poor family values. Punk has two words for us: Katie Vick. Punk says that it will drive you to drink, but he will save you. Punk says that he is here to show four of the most atrocious acts committed on Raw. They are not pretty and tonight he is Raw’s judge, jury and executioner. Exhibit A: Property Damage from Episode 824 when Triple destroyed Randy Orton’s house before Wrestlemania. Exhibit B: Irresponsible and Reckless Behavior: Edge and John Cena fighting into the water in Bridgeport in Episode 691. Punk says that he would never throw anyone into a body of water because it is bad sportsmanship. Exhibit C: Trespassing: Episode 257: Invading Nitro in 1998. Exhibit D: Excessive Use of Alcohol via firehose: Episode 304 in 1999 when Steve Austin had the beer hose and unleashed suds on the McMahon family.

Punk says that he cannot find the words that describe the shame that he feels for them. He says that he is ashamed to see the fans cheer someone like that. Punk says that everyone would pay their hard earned money to see Steve Austin walk down the ramp and spray CM Punk with beer via a fire hose.

Glass breaks and Punk has played the crowd because Steve Austin is not coming out. Punk gets a good laugh out of it and he asks if the people of Boston are disappointed and angry with him. Punk says that he is always that disappointed when he comes here to see each and every one of them. He says that he is happy that they are disappointed. Punk says that he has one more clip to leave on a high note. Punk has a clip from a show called Smackdown. We see the 199th episode of Smackdown when Brock Lesnar superplexed Big Show and imploded the ring. Punk says that he could watch that clip over and over because it represents everything he could never be. He could never be criminally obese. He says that Big Show is so big he broke an entire ring.

Big Show’s music plays and he comes out.

Punk mentions that they play Steve Austin’s music and no one comes out, but they play Big Show’s music and we get Captain Insano.

Show is insulted that Punk would make a fat joke. If Punk wants to embarrass him, he can talk about the chronic diarrhea when Eddie Guerrero gave him a tainted burrito. Or the time that he had to do the sumo wrestling thing. That was embarrassing. Show says that Punk should have brought up Show kissing Vickie Guerrero. Show tells Punk that he loves making people laugh. Show says that he does impersonations. Show does a Straight Edge Hogan promo. Punk says that was boring.

Show sulks a little and then Show says that Punk was being mean. Punk says that there is nothing ‘high’ about the straight edge society and that is what makes them better than Show. Show says he is not high, he is just tall. Show chops Punk. Luke punches Show but Show punches back. Show with a forearm to the back and then he clotheslines Luke over the top rope to the floor.

Time for another Raw moment: Episode 450 in 2002 when Triple H returned from his quad injury.

Josh Mathews brings out Sheamus. Josh asks Sheamus about his match in three weeks, but Sheamus takes the mic. He says that it is a celebration tonight, except for one person, Triple H. He isn’t here because of Sheamus and Triple H is never coming back. Sheamus says that is why he is being punished by having to defend his title against five people. Sheamus wants to know how this is fair. He calls everyone a bunch of Plastic Paddys. He says that he is the only true Irish man. In addition to the match at the pay per view, he has to team with four of his opponents at the pay per view. One of his partners is Randy Orton, the man who tried to end his career. Sheamus says that this is discrimination.

Before the ACLU can come to his side, Edge’s music plays and he comes out. He says that Sheamus is giving him a headache fella. Edge says that since he debuted on Episode 265, he has been thrown into the Long Island Sound, had weddings broken up, had deranged ex-employees come through the crowd and attack him, and hit him with chairs. For everything that has happened to him, he has thrown back three times as many. Edge says that he has won 29 titles. He has won the Royal Rumble, King of the Ring, and Money in the Bank. Edge says that he will win the Six Pack Challenge. He tells Sheamus that he can go back to the lab with Dr. Bunsen Honeydew.

Jericho and Cena have some words as Jericho tells John that he is starting. He will face Michael Tarver. They circle around the ring and then they lock up in the 900th main event on Raw. Jericho decides to leave the ring and he thinks about going back into the ring, but he walks to the back and gets eliminated.

Edge is the next to try to do something, or will he? He pushes the referee and gets disqualified.

Nexus get a good laugh while Cena decides to actually wrestle someone. Cena punches Tarver and sends him into the turnbuckles. Cena with an Irish whip and bulldog. Cena punches Tarver and he tags in Sheamus who attacks Tarver in the corner and kicks him. Sheamus with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Slater tags in and Sheamus with forearms. Sheamus with a suplex for a near fall. Sheamus punches Slater and sends him into the turnbuckles. Sheamus with knees and they force Slater to the apron. Sheamus with an elbow to the throat and he throws Slater back into the ring and he gets a near fall on Slater.

Otunga tags in and he puts Sheamus in a side head lock. Sheamus tries for a shoulder tackle but Otunga stays on his feet. Otunga poses and Sheamus with a clothesline. Sheamus with another clothesline to Otunga. Sheamus kicks Otunga in the corner and Otunga with a hard Irish whip and he punches Sheamus. Slater tags back in and he kicks Sheamus. The referee warns Slater. Gabriel tags in and he kicks Sheamus and punches him. Gabriel tags in Barrett and he kicks Sheamus and punches him. Slater tags back in and he kicks Sheamus. Slater with a surfboard. Sheamus with a boot and Gabriel stops the Celtic Cross. Slater with a boot to Sheamus followed by punches. Sheamus fights out of the corner but Gabriel with a kick and Slater with Sweetness and he pins Sheamus.

Cena with the flying shoulder tackles followed by the Blue Thunder Bomb and Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena with the Attitude Adjustment and he pins Slater.

Barrett attacks Cena and he punches and kicks Cena. Barrett throws Cena to the floor and Tarver, Otunga, and Gabriel attack Cena before Barrett goes out to bring Cena into the ring. Before they return to the ring, Barrett slams Cena’s head into the announce table and he gets a near fall. Barrett kicks Cena and punches him. Gabriel tags back in and he hits a jumping back heel kick. Barrett punches Cena on the apron while Gabriel distracts the referee. Gabriel gets a near fall on Cena. Gabriel with a cross body into the corner for a near fall. Otunga tags in and he tries for a suplex and Cena blocks it and Cena hits a suplex of his own. Otunga knocks Orton off the apron to prevent Cena from making the tag. Cena puts Otunga in the STF and Otunga taps.

Gabriel hits a 450 Splash and he pins Cena. Orton with an RKO on Gabriel to eliminate him.

Tarver misses a Superman punch and Orton with an RKO to pin him. Barrett with the fireman’s carry slam on Orton for the three count.

Los Angeles, California and your announcers are Michael ‘I am wearing every tie that I own’ Cole and Jerry ‘It feels like we were in this building recently’ Lawler.

The losing team from the main event come out and they make their way to the ring in a different formation this time. Barrett is in the middle and he has the mic. He says that that doesn’t kill us will only make us stronger. Team WWE narrowly escaped with a victory last night, but Nexus defeated six of the best that Monday Night Raw had to offer. Rumors of their demise have been greatly exaggerated. They are still here, united, and ready to dominate the WWE. Everybody was so concerned with what would happen if Nexus won at SummerSlam, but nobody thought about what would have happened if they tasted defeat. There are consequences and they will be severe for the Raw roster. There will be more suffering, chaos, and misery for those who get in their way. Last night was just a temporary aberration.

John Cena interrupts Barrett before he can mark his words. He says that he is impressed. He says that Wade Barrett speaks a big game, but he is the fearless leader of Nexus. He has the resolve of Winston Churchill but he is as tough as Snooki from the Jersey Shore. Cena says that Wade tapped out last night and the crowd joins in with the chant. He says that Wade caused Team Nexus to lose at SummerSlam and now he is out here to try to pump up Nexus. Cena says that Nexus are the Expendables. After the surprise last night, he is probably wondering why he got rid of Daniel Bryan. When Daniel Bryan joined Team WWE last night, he eliminated half of Nexus by himself. For weeks, Nexus has been viewed as a group. After SummerSlam, we found out that Nexus is human and they can be beat.

John Cena says that instead of looking at them as a group, we are going to look at them individually. Cena mentions David Otunga. He says that Otunga is nothing more than a below average male escort who hangs on someone’s arm on the red carpet. Michael Tarver looks like an MMA bank robber who works nights as a male stripper. Cena wonders if that is Heath Slater or the chick from Wendy’s. We see the graphic to support Cena’s point. Darren Young says that it hits close to the chest because the existence of Darren Young proves that Cena’s mom had an affair with Buckwheat. Cena moves to Justin Gabriel and mentions that he has an alternative style of living. Cena says that it looks like it went over Skip’s head. Cena says that he can read his thoughts and he is singing the Meow Mix jingle. Cena says that Nexus is nothing more than human. The fear that they instilled in the locker room is gone. They lost last night and SummerSlam will be known as the night that Nexus was history.

Darren Young says that Cena doesn’t know what he is talking about. Cena says that Young tapped out in under a minute last night. Cena says that his name should be changed to the Weakest Link.

We’ve got mail to interrupt the arguing among the members of Nexus.

Michael Cole goes to his viewing stand. He says that Nexus may claim they are stronger than ever. It will be put to a test tonight. SummerSlam will continue tonight. Each member of Nexus will compete against members of Team WWE in a series of matches. Outside interference by Nexus members will be met with swift and appropriate consequences.

Wade says that is not a form of punishment. That is an opportunity for redemption. It is a chance to examine the Nexus. Wade says that they will see if there are any weak links. If there are any weak links, they will be weeded out. If anyone in Nexus is not victorious, they will be exiled from the group. One way or another, by the end of tonight, Nexus will be stronger than ever.

Otunga says that is fine, but it also applies to Wade. Otunga says that if Wade loses tonight, they will be happy to take over.

We have more e-mails. Nexus can choose which member faces Team WWE except Wade Barrett. Wade will face his former mentor Chris Jericho.

We have mail to kill the crowd. Cole says that the Unified Tag Titles will now be known as the WWE Tag Team Championships. To present the new titles, Bret Hart will present the new belts. Bret comes to the ring with the belts over his shoulders.

Wade Barrett says that they have chosen Bret’s opponent and it is Justin Gabriel. Justin says that Bret might have experienced many things in his career, but tonight, he will feel the 450 splash.

Vince McMahon’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Michael talks about Great Khali’s injury and his replacement at SummerSlam in the main event. Cole talks about how Miz would be part of Team WWE and Jerry Lawler talks about how Daniel Bryan took his place.

Alex calls Daniel Bryan boring. He says that Daniel never appreciated Miz. Alex says that he is not some nerd who is lucky to have a job in the WWE. Alex says that he will be the next break out star thanks to Miz.

Nexus are in their locker room and Darren Young says that he wants John Cena. He reminds us about the brutal attack last month and tonight he takes him out. Otunga mentions that Darren was beaten within an inch of his life.

The Miz and Alex Riley come to the ring to distract Bryan and Tarver gets the three count with a rollup.

Cena says that he looked at last week’s show and he wonders where Sheamus was. He says that Sheamus will wake up and realize that when it comes to the Nexus, they are all in this together. Cena says that next Monday, Sheamus is going to realize that he lost the WWE Title after their match inside a steel cage. Cena says that a Steel Cage match is designed to show who the better man is. The luckiest Irish man will get a chance to finally show if he is good. Cena throws out a few Irish symbols and then he mentions that Sheamus is a two time champion, but because he fell through a table and because of the Nexus. In a Steel Cage match, no one can interfere. After weeks of listening to the human jar of mayonnaise, Cena says that the champion will be here (as he points to himself). Cena says that even though that match is grueling, it will be his easiest match because tonight he is in a six on one match because of what he did to Darren Young. Cena says that he meant what he said. Whether he has help or not, he will take care of each of them. He says that the Nexus is not about winning, it is about surviving.

The Nexus stand on the stage with their pretty new shirts.

Cena calls them the NNNNNN Clan. Wade tells Cena that they could come to the ring and beat the living daylights out of him, but they will wait. Barrett says that they will be able to do what they want with a clear conscience because Cena brought this upon himself. Barrett says that the Nexus stands for a much bigger picture. Barrett says that Cena disrespected the general manager and he is going to get what he deserves.

Cena says that he is going to knock Barrett’s teeth down his throat

But Cena is interrupted by an e-mail from the General Manager. Cena is told that if any Superstar gets involved in any way, they will be suspended for ninety days. Nexus will have to tag in and if they don’t comply they will be suspended for ninety days.

Barrett tells Cena that doesn’t make one shred of difference because they can play by the rules, but Cena will be on his own.

Cena says that he will take a few down with him tonight.

Ted introduces the Million Dollar Couple, the most powerful couple in the WWE. Ted says that he is talking about himself and the briefcase. He tells Maryse that when he wins Money in the Bank, he will shower her with gifts. Ted says that he will give himself the ultimate gift because he will win the WWE Title.

John Morrison comes out and he interrupts Ted. Before John speaks, he stops on the stage and does his slow motion pose. John tells Teddy not to waste time showering Maryse with gifts because the French do not shower.

Maryse gets outraged and yells at John in French.

John translates for Maryse and then tells Maryse not to kill the messenger. Maryse tries to slap Morrison but Morrison blocks it. Ted attacks Morrison and tries for Dream Street but Morrison blocks it and hits an enzuigiri. Morrison kicks Ted and then he looks at Maryse before trying the corkscrew split legged moonsault but Maryse pulls DiBiase out of the ring and Morrison lands on his feet.

Florence Henderson is in the back with a pie and she gives it to Santino. He thanks her for being at Raw. Santino says that it is always Regal Regal Regal. Santino comments on the laugh track. Florence says that she is excited to host Raw. She asks Santino if his team is ready. Santino says that Regal’s team is like Cousin Oliver and worse than Florence’s son Rickey. William Regal comes in and he wonders if the General Manager is Gilligan. Regal wonders where the laughs were. Florence tells Regal that he isn’t funny. Regal then makes reference to the Partridge Family and Florence slaps Regal and she tells him to leave. Santino is about to kiss Florence but she stops him. She leaves the office.

The Miz comes to the ring and he has something to say. Miz says that everyone is talking about how they are going to win Money in the Bank, but talk is cheap. We go to footage from last week when he knocked R Truth out of the Money in the Bank match. Miz asks everyone if they get it. Miz says that he has never been more serious in his entire life. He lets his actions speak for himself. He says that he didn’t need a ladder to take care of R Truth. He did it with his bare hands. He ended R Truth’s dream with his bare hands. He didn’t just take away Truth’s ability to compete. He took away his ability to play catch with his son or entertain. He says that R Truth is not dancing right now. On Sunday, when he has a ladder in his hands, what he did to R Truth will pale in comparison to what he is going to do to his other opponents. One down, six to go.

Evan Bourne is getting his neck checked out by the medical staff and Sheamus stops by to ask the little fella if he is okay. Sheamus says that he was lucky it wasn’t him or it would have been a lot worse. The Nexus surround Bourne and Sheamus says that Bourne was bragging about jumping him last week. Gabriel slaps Bourne in the head and then Barrett slams his head into the case. Sheamus tells Little Evan Bourne that will teach him a lesson . . . fella.

The Nexus return and Sheamus has a look on his face. We have a six on one stare down. Sheffield moves towards Sheamus and Sheamus runs like he was in Nexus and they saw Santino Marella. Sheamus asks someone where John Cena’s dressing room is and he runs into a commercial.

Gabriel tags in and they lock up and Cena puts Gabriel in the corner and he punches Gabriel. Cena Irish whips Gabriel into the corner and hits a clothesline. It is now Sheffield’s turn in the match. They lock up and Sheffield tries to back Cena into the Neuxs corner but Cena avoids it. Sheffield with an Irish whip but Cena gets out of the corner. The Nexus go to the floor to discuss strategy.

Tarver distracts the referee and Slater attacks Cena from behind. This allows Sheffield to punch Cena. Sheffield punches Cena and Slater tags in and he punches and kicks Cena. Slater distracts the referee to allow Gabriel and Tarver to punch Cena. Slater with a belly-to-back suplex or two. Slater with a third belly-to-back suplex. Slater with a punch and then he tags in Otunga. Cena punches Otunga and then he takes a few out on the apron. Otunga with a clothesline to Cena. Otunga with a suplex and then he talks trash to Cena before punching Cena. Otunga with a hard Irish whip. Cena with a belly-to-back suplex on Otunga. Barrett tags in and Cena punches Wade. Wade with a big boot to Cena.

Barrett gets Cena on his shoulders but Cena escapes. Cena with two flying shoulder tackles followed by the Blue Thunder Bomb. Cena signals for the five knuckle shuffle as the Nexus watches on the apron. Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle and he gets Barrett up for the Attitude Adjustment and he hits it but Sheffield breaks up the cover after he makes the blind tag. Sheffield with a clothesline and then he tags in Otunga who hits the World Most Dangerous Spinebuster. Justin Gabriel is tagged in and it is time for the hesitation 450 Splash and the three count.

After the match, Nexus stand over Cena and Cena punches Barrett and leaves the ring and gets a chair and he hits Slater twice with it. The six members of Nexus leave the ring when it is John Cena and one chair.

Meat Loaf talks about what Randy was in 1995 in St. Louis to do than it was fifteen.

Orton says he wants to hear the song and he says Meat Loaf hum a few bars. Meat Loaf says he will sing the whole song for Randy. Cena beats Batista and then goes to Sheamus. Batista with a spear and then with a uranage Sheamus Backbreaker. Cena takes Batista and he runs into the ring post twice. Batista sends Cena into the ring and waits for the calcium pump Sheamus and he does.

Set for the Batista Bomb for Batista, but Mark Henry comes out and saves. Henry with a header to Batista and then hits a splash in the corner, and Batista leaves the ring.

Vickie is in her office texting someone says Vickie and Edge that has found a tag-team partner. Edge means making sure that everything is fine with them. Edge says that he said many bad things about Vickie and he did try to get some sympathy for Vickie, but did not work. Edge says that he hates them all, so that they have this link. Edge tells Vickie that he wants the ring for his match with Randy Orton. Vickie says that Orton is cold like a snake, and crawls out. Vickie wants a guarantee that nothing will happen to her. Edge and Vickie promises remember, if you raise a finger to her, she can fire him. Vickie tells Edge that has everyone that she was not intimidated and will also show the face of Randy when Randy beat. Vickie said there will be.

Goldust and Barrett start things off and Barrett pushes Goldust away and then he kicks and punches him. The referee pulls Barrett out of the corner. Goldust with an uppercut followed by a reverse atomic drop and clothesline. Yoshi tags in and he hits a forearm to the arm from the turnbuckles. Gabriel comes in and he is given a Japanese arm drag. Yoshi misses a round kick and Gabriel with a spin kick and punch. Otunga makes the blind tag and he hits Yoshi in the head with a forearm. Otunga with another forearm and knee to the midsection. Otunga with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Otunga with another near fall. Otunga with a rear chin lock but Yoshi with elbows and a forearm. Slater and Morrison tag in and Morrison with a drop kick and clothesline. Morrison with punches followed by an Irish whip and leg lariat. Morrison kicks Tarver and sends him into a Young and they go off the apron. Slater with a sunset flip but Morrison rolls through and hits a knee to the head. Morrison tries for the corkscrew split legged moonsault and he lands on the knees. Bryan tags in and Morrison with a back body drop. Santino tags in and Bryan gets the three count with an inside cradle.

After the match, the NXT rookies celebrate in the ring.
