Maryse welcome us to NXT and Matt reminds us that the rookies have been in past seasons of NXT but they are competing to be a part of NXT Season Six where they can choose their pro. Titus O’Neill has 9 redemption points and Darren Young has seven redemption points. This challenge is worth four redemption points. Maryse says that tonight, the rookie have to answer the question correctly. Matt likes the way that Maryse explained the rules. It is Hot Seat Trivia where the rookies will go down the line for answers. The category is Wrestlemania 27 winners. Darren Young goes with Bret Hart and he is a year off and is eliminated. Byron goes with The Undertaker and is right. Jacob Novak guesses Randy Orton and is correct. Conor O’Brian guesses Snooki and is right. Lucky Cannon decides to ask Matt if he knows where is girlfriend was last night and that is an incorrect answer. Titus O’Neill guesses Cody Rhodes. Saxton goes with Edge. Novak goes with Miz. O’Brian guesses nobody. Titus gets the next question and it is an inductee into the Hall of Fame. He guesses Jim Duggan. Saxton goes with Shawn Michaels. Novak goes with Sunny. Lucky says that Maryse is all his and he heard that Maryse likes Yoshi so he should ask her out. Yoshi sees Maryse and he says hello before asking her out. Ted DiBiase stops by and answers for Maryse and says no. Ted attacks Yoshi while Maryse screams in French. Ted tells Maryse that he will deal with Lucky Cannon later. He asks Maryse if Yoshi will pay for the day spas, the Louis Vuitton bags, and all of the shoes she never wears. Ted tells Maryse that he has a match with Yoshi and wonders if Maryse is coming with him. Ted walks away. Maryse thinks about it and goes to Ted. She walks over Yoshi as she leaves.

Did You Know that this was the most watched Hall of Fame ceremony? We have footage from the ceremony. Regal talks about Triple Haitch’s induction speech about how Shawn is Mr. Hall of Fame. Todd says that he is looking forward to the Hall of Fame next year, the night before John Cena faces The Rock at Wrestlemania 28. Vladimir Kozlov is talking to JTG about their rookies. JTG wants to know how Conor is representing Vladimir. He says that wins are not enough. JTG says that Conor needs some flava. JTG says that Conor looks like a rat. Vladimir says that Jacob looks like a geek. JTG and Vladimir have a bet on who does a better job changing their rookie.

We have survived NXT Season One The Movie, NXT Season Two: The Wrath of Miz, NXT Season Three: The Search for Announcing, and NXT Season Four: The Voyage Home. Now it is time to venture into NXT Season Five: The Final Frontier. Who will make it through this season of NXT and make it to Sha Ka Ree

It is time for the moment that you have been waiting for.

We are live on tape from Houston, Texas via the internet and your announcers are Todd ‘I Come in Peace’ Grisham and William ‘Sunshine’ Regal. Your hosts are Matt ‘It is like Groundhog Day but without the presence of Ned Ryerson’ Striker and ‘Still being booked better than Ted DiBiase’ Maryse.

Todd tells us that this show is all about redemption. Todd has a new announcing partner and it is William Regal. Regal says that it is about redemption for one of the rookies.

Matt Striker is in the ring and he welcomes us to Season Five of NXT. Matt introduces his co-host and it is Maryse. Maryse thank Matt and she says that this season is going to be very different. She introduce the people who are part of Season Five of NXT.

Out first is Darren Young. He is followed by Conor O’Brian. Lucky Cannon comes out and he has a new robe that he modeled after Rick Rude. Byron Saxton is out next. He is followed by another Season Four reject, Jacob Novak. The final rookie to come out is Titus O’Neill.

Matt welcomes everyone back and he says that they have been chosen to return for Redemption. This season will be different. Maryse says that they will be competing to be a part of Season Six of NXT. Matt says that there is no immunity. They will be competing for Redemption Points. If there is a tie in the voting between the pros and the WWE Universe, they can apply their Redemption Points.

It is now time to meet Darren Young’s pro and it is Chavo Guerrero. Chavo says hello to the WWE Universe and he tells Darren Young that he is happy that he is his pro. He has been watching him and has seen him work in the ring. Chavo tells Darren that he can’t take it easy like he did on NXT. He has to be like a Guerrero and separate himself from the pack. He challenges Darren to ‘get noticed’. He tells him to do it any way that he can.

The next pro is for Conor O’Brian and it is Vladimir Kozlov. Vladimir tells Conor that he thought Conor tried to impress people too much. He needs to be himself.

Lucky Cannon’s pro is Tyson Kidd. Tyson congratulates Lucky and says that he is lucky because he has the best pro this season. He says that Lucky has been too nice and he needs to take what he wants. He tells Lucky that this competition is for the taking.

Byron Saxton’s pro is Yoshi Tatsu. Yoshi tells Byron that he was overconfident last season. He tells him to be himself and relax.

Jacob Novak’s pro is JTG. He tells Jacob that he had to deal with the drama between Dolph and Vickie. This season it is just them so there are no distractions. They are going to get it popping.

Titus O’Neill’s pro is Hornswoggle. Hornswoggle is wearing something other than green and he calms himself down and he grunts and speaks in tiny Irish. Apparently no one understands him.

It is time to start things off and Jacob Novak will be facing Darren Young

Maryse is walking in the back and Yoshi Tatsu says that she is going to be a very good host on NXT. Maryse likes the compliment but Byron stops Yoshi from saying anything else to Maryse. Byron says that he would love to work together and strategize for this season.

Maryse leaves and Yoshi tells Byron that his timing is no good.

Todd and William talk about the situation between Rock, Miz, and John Cena.

It is time for a Conor O’Brian video package. He reminds us that he was on Season Four. He didn’t let the WWE Universe see who Conor O’Brian really is. He hid behind a persona and was not himself. He was raised by his mother because his father left when he was two. He says that it was hard growing up. He says that this is an opportunity to focus on the good things. He says that most people don’t get a second chance. He is going to let the real Conor O’Brian come out and he will get redemption.

We go to commercial and we will be back with the Boot Camp Obstacle Course.

We are back and Maryse tell us it time for first challenge of season. This challenge worth three redemption point.

Matt explains the course to the rookies. They must hop over a wall and then go through the army net. Then they will have to traverse a balance beam. Then they will have to do a slalom through flags. They must then pick up a loaded duffel bag across the finish line.

Titus O’Neill goes first and his time is 29.8 seconds.

The second rookie to go is Jacob Novak and his time is 24.0 seconds and he is in the lead.

Byron Saxton goes third. His time is 26.5 seconds.

In the cleanup position, it is Lucky Cannon. His time is irrelevant because he says that he will not be our circus monkey tonight. Lucky then says that he is going to steal Maryse away from Ted but Maryse tell him to talk to hand. Lucky does not compete.

Conor O’Brian is next and his time is 27.1 seconds.

The final rookie is Darren Young and his time is 23.0 seconds and he wins the challenge and earns Three Redemption Points.

Darren and Chavo celebrate his victory.

We go to commercial but when we come back, we will see the announcement of the guest referee at Wrestlemania in the match between Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler.

We are back and they talk about redemption and Regal says that he has had to deal with redemption as well.

Byron Saxton reminds us that he was on Season Four. We see highlights from Season Four but then we see him being eliminated. He says that he made some mistakes and he will take nothing for granted this year. Byron says that they are a group of guys who have been there and done that before. They have also been eliminated. Byron says that he knows that it is his time. He says that he will win NXT. He says that this is his last chance. It might be cliché to say that, but it is his opportunity and his dream.

hey lock up and they go into the ropes and then they go through the ropes to the floor. Young gets back into the ring first and then Young with a clothesline and then Novak makes it to the ropes. JTG gives Novak some advice. Young with a waist lock and Novak with a punch and shoulder tackle. Young with a roaring elbow followed by a power slam for a near fall.

Young with a cravate but Novak with punches. Young with a European uppercut but Novak with a boot to the head and Young goes down. Novak with elbows in the corner and the referee warns Jacob. Novak with an Irish whip but Young with an elbow. Novak with a clothesline in the corner followed by a boot to the chest and he gets a near fall.

Novak with a chin lock and he uses Young’s arm to restrict Young’s breathing patterns. Young backs Novak into the corner and then he punches Novak. Novak with a clothesline and he gets a near fall. Young with a Northern Lights suplex and bridge for a near fall. Young with a reverse atomic drop and clotheslines followed by a back body drop.

Young hits Heatwave for the three count.

begins with a look back at what happened after Edge retained the World Title with the help of Kelly Kelly, despite Edge’s apprehension over his tag team partner. As a result, Kelly was fired by Vickie Guerrero. She also announced another rematch for Dolph Ziggler with guest referee Vickie Guerrero.

We are live on tape from Green Bay, Wisconsin and your announcers are Michael ‘Hey Truth, you can say hello to this crowd and get it right’ Cole, Josh ‘The Frozen Tundra’ Mathews, and Booker ‘Main Event Announcer’ T.

The ring is adorned with balloons, flowers, and other celebratory items along with Ricardo Rodriguez who introduces Alberto Del Rio, who drives into the arena.

As he walks to the ring, we see footage from last week when Hornswoggle hit Alberto and then Alberto decided to thank Hornswoggle with the shot to the groin by knocking him down. We then had Kofi Kingston come to the ring and Alberto put Kofi in the cross arm breaker.

Alberto introduces himself, but we already knew that. Alberto says that with Valentine’s Day around the corner, in addition to being a great athlete, the winner of the biggest Royal Rumble in history, and the man who will be in the main event at Wrestlemania; that doesn’t mean that there is no love in his heart. It is the other way. He has Ricardo come into the ring with a heart shaped box. Alberto says that he loves a lot of things. He loves his cars. He loves his beautiful country of Mexico. He loves the fact that the six superstars who hope to face him at Wrestlemania will destroy themselves in the Elimination Chamber.

He says that he loves the most in this life is ‘destiny’, as he opens the box to reveal the word written inside. Destiny loves him . . . Alberto Del Rio and we now see a photo of Alberto in the box. Alberto says that Aaron Rodgers may have won the Super Bowl, but unlike Aaron, he does not need to pretend that he is a Heavyweight Champion because it is his destiny and he will become the World Champion at Wrestlemania.

Kofi Kingston comes out and he stands on the stage with something to say. All Alberto talks about is destiny and the future, like he knows something that nobody else knows. Kofi says that nobody knows what the future holds and there is no such thing as a crystal ball. Kofi says that he knows about the past. He knows about Alberto beating him with the kendo stick last week. Kofi says that he may not know about destiny, but he knows about the present and it is just the two of them. Kofi says that this is Alberto’s destiny.

Kofi gets a kendo stick to show Alberto what he dealt with last week. Alberto begs for mercy so Kofi will not hit him. Kofi thinks about it, and he eventually hits Alberto and then after Alberto leaves the ring, Kofi destroys everything in the ring and throws balloons at Alberto. Kofi takes a swing at the photo of Alberto and he sends it deep to left field.

Todd Grisham is in the interview area with Edge. Todd asks Edge about his chances tonight with his ex-wife as the referee. Edge looks at Todd and then he sarcastically says that he thinks Vickie will call things down the middle and then after the match, they will all go out together and have a celebratory dinner for Valentine’s Day. Edge says that will happen when pigs fly and Vickie Guerrero on an airplane does not count. Todd asks Edge how will he retain the title and Edge says that he has no idea. We go to commercial.

We are back and we see Aaron Rodgers celebrating his Super Bowl victory with a World Title belt over his shoulder. We then see Aaron being given a spinner belt by David Letterman earlier this week.

it is time to take a look back at the facial injury suffered by Cody Rhodes because of Rey’s knee brace. Cole tells us that Cody had successful reconstructive facial surgery and he is recovering.

Rey Mysterio is walking in the back and Todd Grisham stops him to ask Rey if he had anything to say to Cody Rhodes. Rey asks Todd if he is serious. Rey wonders why he would say anything to Cody. It is only a broken nose and he didn’t do it intentionally. Injuries are a part of the game and they can happen during the course of the match. He hopes that Cody has the strength and the guts to get through this difficult time. Rey says that his focus is on beating Wade Barrett tonight and then winning the World Title at Elimination Chamber.

We see footage from last week when Wade Barrett defeated Big Show to get into the Elimination Chamber.

Wade says that in less than two weeks, he will be representing The Corre in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match. Wade says that doesn’t mean that he is any better than the other men in The Corre because they are all equal. It only means that he will go to Wrestlemania as the World Champion. The master plan for the evolution of Smackdown by The Corre is in action and the next step is beating Rey Mysterio.

Cole and Josh talk about how next week is the 600th episode of Smackdown and Cole makes fun of other shows that have had long runs but nowhere near the number of episodes (of course if Simpsons had a new show every week, they would be over 1,000 episodes). Josh points out that is the third highest amount of episodes for a show.

Michelle and Layla are walking in the back and they talk about snakes and mention Eve. Layla points out that Eve wasn’t even supposed to be in the match at the Royal Rumble. Michelle says that it was their rematch. Michelle says that nobody ever helps them out. Michelle says that it was a fluke that Eve won and that if the referee was doing his job, Michelle would be the Divas Champion. Layla asks Michelle if she meant ‘we’ would be the champion and Michelle covers but kind of half hearted.

They happen to be walking past Vickie Guerrero’s office and Vickie walks out in her referee outfit. Vickie says that she was disappointed by LayCool and thought too highly of them. Vickie says that now she has to do things herself and that is why she is the referee in the match between Edge and Dolph tonight.

Dolph stops by and he tells Vickie to stop talking to the losers. Layla wonders what Dolph means. Dolph blames them for not winning the title last week.

Layla sarcastically thanks Michelle for having her back .

Kane goes up top for the clothesline and he hits it. Kane sets for the choke slam and he hits it and gets the three count.

this week’s show with a time line from last week’s show showing the Corre’s introduction, Teddy Long’s ‘accident’, and Corre’s attack on Edge.

We are live on tape from Cincinnati, Ohio and your announcers are Michael ‘I’m Going to Win the Royal Rumble’ Cole, Matt ‘I’m Going to win the Royal Rumble’ Striker, and Josh ‘Les Thatcher is going to win the Royal Rumble’ Mathews.

Vickie Guerrero is in the ring and she tells everyone ‘Excuse Me’ a few times to get them to make even more noise. Vickie says that due to the severe injuries suffered last week, she regrets to say that Teddy Long will not be here tonight and she will be acting General Manager of Smackdown. Vickie wishes Teddy Long her best and hopes for a speedy recovery.

Vickie is interrupted by Smackdown superstar Randy Orton.

Vickie wants to know what Randy is doing out here because he does not have a match until later tonight.

Randy tells Vickie to relax. He says that he is here to show his appreciation for being invited to Smackdown. He says that he doesn’t know Vickie that well and did not get the privilege to get to know her so he tells her that she will have to excuse him. Randy tells Vickie to excuse him for what he is going to do to her boyfriend tonight. Just like the Miz is going to have to excuse him on Sunday night when he takes the WWE Championship away from him. Randy tells Vickie that she has nice hair while the crowd chants ‘RKO’. He tells Vickie that there is no excuse when it comes to her.

Vickie moves away from Randy and Dolph Ziggler’s music plays and he comes to the ring.

Dolph asks Randy who he thinks he is because nobody talks to the acting General Manager like that. Dolph asks Randy if he knows who Vickie is or who he is.

Randy says that he is pretty sure that Dolph is the same man he beat two weeks ago on Raw.

Dolph says that he is going to be World Champion on Sunday. He wants Randy to show him respect, just like he will show Vickie Guerrero respect. Never again will Randy disrespect him, his girlfriend, or anyone who stands behind them. Dolph tells Randy to remember that the next time he comes on Dolph’s show and runs his mouth. After Sunday and after tonight, Randy will have no other option but to show him respect.

Randy tells Dolph that you have to earn your respect around here. Randy hits an RKO on Dolph and then he leaves the ring.

Michelle McCool and Layla versus Kaitlyn and Kelly Kelly

since Kelly was so involved in the Divas Tag Match, she stays at ringside to watch the next match. Cole wonders if there is any hypocrisy with Kelly being involved in the pre match attack on LayCool when she has condemned Drew’s previous aggressive actions.

Drew McIntyre versus JTG

we take a look back at footage from last week when Cody Rhodes injured his nose due to his actions against Rey Mysterio.

We see the back of Cody’s head and Todd Grisham asks him a few questions. He wants Cody to turn around but Cody refuses to turn around. After what Rey Mysterio did to his face, he may never be able to show his face in public. He says that Rey did not even want to win the match. Why did he keep his knee brace exposed? He wanted to bash in his face. Cody says that he has a deviated septum and a broken nose. Cody will require extensive reconstructive surgery. Cody says that he has been ordered by doctors not to participate in the Royal Rumble. Not only has Rey shattered his face, he has shattered his dreams of headlining Wrestlemania. Cody wants to know why someone would do that. Cody says that he was the most handsome in the world. He made his living based on his looks and now he cannot even look at himself in the mirror. Cody says that he read something that said it is not who we are on the inside, but it is what we do that defines us. Cody asks himself if he is going to keep swinging and keep fighting because Rey Mysterio does not control his life. Coming to the arena today, a little kid told him that he was not dashing any more because of his face. Cody says that the kid was right.

Jack Korpela is in the interview area with the World Heavyweight Champion Edge. He asks Edge about the tag match tonight. Edge wants to talk about what the Corre did to him last week. Edge says that he has a memory like an elephant and he says that he remembers their names. He mentions Ezekiel Jackson, Wade Barrett, DJ Gabriel. Jack stops Edge to tell him that it is Justin Gabriel. Edge says whatever and then he talks about the guy with the really bad red hair, the rock band guy. Jack reminds him that is Heath Slater.

Edge points out that he is not known as the Master Manipulator or the Ultimate Opportunist for no reason. He says that he is going to let them think about it and sleep with one eye open. Edge says that he has bigger fish to fry. It is the reunion of Rated RKO and they will be facing The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. The last few weeks have been frustrating for him and he is going to take out that frustration and he is going to tear Dolph Ziggler in half with a spear.

Alberto Del Rio is walking in the back and he stops to shake hands with Michael Tarver and introduce himself, but we already know who he is. We drive to commercial with Alberto.

Alberto Del Rio introduces himself but we already know that. He is not going to tell us that it is his destiny to win the Royal Rumble. He is going to prove it. He says that he has thirty nine fighters from around the world ready to fight him. He says it is going to be like a mini Royal Rumble. One fighter is going to come out and then every thirty seconds thereafter until he has eliminated all thirty nine men. Alberto calls for the first amigito to come out.

The Mini Royal Rumble Del Rio Style: Alberto Del Rio versus Seth Allen versus Mike Stevens versus Kane versus Kofi Kingston versus Rey Mysterio

Big Show makes his way to the ring. Show says hello to the people of Cincinnati. He says that when you are seven foot tall and weigh four hundred forty pounds, you aren’t just the world’s largest athlete. You are also the guy who can’t fit into airplane bathrooms and you break furniture. He mentions that he is a former World Champion. He says that you are admired by your peers, but you are also a target. When you are a target, people try to make an impact at your expense.

We go to footage from two weeks ago when Big Show was attacked by the people who would form the Corre including a slam by Ezekiel Jackson.

Show says that The Corre accomplished two things. One, they made him angry. Show says that you don’t want any part of him when he is angry. Two, the Corre reminded him what it is going to be like in the Royal Rumble match. He is going to have four or five people trying to throw him over the top rope from all angles. Show says that he never won the Royal Rumble, but . . .

The Corre comes out in their new t-shirts and they make their way to the ring. They surround the ring on all four sides.

Show wants to know if all four of them are going to attack him. He wonders if they are afraid to deal with him one on one. He asks them individually if they are going to do it. Show tells Zeke to face him one on one and the outcome might be different than two weeks ago.

Big Show versus Heath Slater with Justin Gabriel, Ezekiel Jackson, and Wade Barrett

The WWE Champion comes out and Michael Cole wishes that he could be Alex Riley because he is walking with the Miz to the ring. Miz has something to say before the main event. Miz says that in 1947 in an effort to stop the spread of Communism, President Truman implemented the Truman Doctrine. Four Hundred Million Dollars in military and economic aid was given to Turkey and Greece. Miz asks rhetorically what it has to do with the Royal Rumble and Miz says that it has absolutely nothing to do with the Rumble. JTG with punches to Drew while JTG avoids Drew’s punches. JTG with a drop kick that sends Drew to the floor and he is only a few feet away from Kelly. Drew pulls JTG to the floor and hits a short arm clothesline on the floor. Drew sends JTG into the ring steps before returning to the ring. Drew with a swinging neck breaker or two as he works on the neck. Drew with another neck breaker and he gets a near fall. Drew kicks JTG in the corner and he tries for a clothesline in the corner but JTG blocks it and connects with forearms. Drew sends JTG back into the corner and the referee stops his attack. Drew returns to the dominant position and he hits a few clotheslines in the corner and then he hits a short arm clothesline. Drew with a standing drop kick and he gets a near fall.

Drew with an arm bar on JTG and JTG tries to get to his feet. JG with punches to Drew and then he hits a crucifix for a near fall. Drew with a running forearm and then he stomps on JTG’s chest. Drew with kicks to JTG but JTG with a punch to fight back. Drew takes JTG down by the hair and gets a near fall. Drew returns to the arm bar and he adds extra pressure with his elbow to the chin. Drew tries for a neck breaker but JTG counters with a back slide and gets a near fall.

Drew runs into boots from JTG and then JTG hits a clothesline. JTG tries for another back slide but Drew rolls through and hits the Future Shock DDT and gets the three count.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match, Drew walks to the back as Kelly leaves her seat at the announce table and stands in the ring with a confused look on her face since Drew ignored her.

Chavo kicks JTG in the back and then chokes him in the ropes. Chavo with a Latino uppercut followed by punches and another uppercut. Chavo with a snap mare and drop kick to the back of the head for a near fall. Chavo has a kick blocked and JTG with a short arm clothesline and a boot to the head and then he pulls Chavo to the apron and he punches him.

JTG gets back into the ring and Chavo kicks him and then he throws JTG to the floor. Chavo with punches and a Latino uppercut on the floor. Chavo with a slingshot senton back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Chavo with a snap mare and body scissors and arm bar with chin lock. JTG with forearms but Chavo with a drop kick and he gets a near fall.

Chavo gets another near fall on JTG and then he follows JTG into the corner. Chavo with a Saito suplex and then he kicks JTG in the ribs. Chavo kicks JTG in the chest and chokes him. Chavo slingshots himself to the floor and he connects with a shot across the chest. Chavo returns and he puts JTG in a front face lock. JTG gets to his feet and he runs Chavo into the corner followed by a back body drop and both men are down.

Chavo gets up first but JTG with running forearms and a kick to the midsection followed by a neck breaker for a near fall. JTG with a front face lock but Chavo with a Northern Lights suplex to get out of the hold. Chavo with kicks and another Latino uppercut followed by punches as the referee warns Chavo. JTG with a drop kick to the back followed by the Mug Shot and then he sets up for the Shout Out and gets the three count.

Winner: JTG
